Ali Gilling
Ali is a trauma-informed breathwork practitioner, yoga and mindfulness meditation teacher who has been travelling extensively around the globe as a nomadic Yogini for over 25 years, running retreats and workshops since 1999.
Her journey began when she headed off to India in 1993, discovering ashram life and met her first teacher on the river Ganges in Varanasi where she dived deep into spiritual India, living there for two years and studying 1-2-1 with her teacher.
Out of all the transformative principles Ali has studied and practised for almost 3 decades, she believes there is nothing for powerful than the breath. Discovering breathwork several years ago, her teachings now take a somatic approach. The emphasis is on the power of the breath to release stuck and stored emotions in the body, with gentle yoga movements that are slow resourcing on the body’s intelligence to support conscious breakthroughs and awareness through mindfulness enquiry.
Ali continues to expand her knowledge through training and personal development. Her passion is to support others, not just to feel better but to get better at feeling. She offers a heartfelt space to empower people to improve their physical and mental wellbeing, embarking on their own journey of self-discovery and personal transformation.
